Mother, minor daughter mowed down by truck

A 27-year-old woman and her minor daughter were killed today when a truck hit the motorcycle they were riding in Hindoli area of the district.
However, the woman's husband and minor son escaped unhurt in the accident.
Rama Bai and her daughter came under the wheels of the truck, police said, adding the truck driver has been arrested.
They were returning after celebrating 'Raksha bandhan' in Todararai Singh village, police said.
