Solanki's victory is almost sealed after the nominations of her rivals, Tara Bhati of Congress, and Tara Parihar, an independent, were rejected.
The nomination of Bhati was rejected on the ground that she had more than two children whereas the nomination of Parihar was rejected for incomplete documents, an election official said.
"But she (Solanki) was considered eligible despite having four issues (children) considering all of them to be a single unit as all the four were born out of single delivery," the official said.
"I had all these children born in a single delivery. So the rule of disqualification for having more than two children did not apply on me," said an ecstatic Solanki, who is pursuing PhD.
