Ujjwala Sharma, mother of Rohit Shekhar, the biological son of N D Tiwari, staged a dharna outside the Congress leader's residence here today after which he reportedly allowed her to stay with him.
Ujjwala staged a dharna in front of Tiwari's residence at Mall Avenue here with her supporters after not being allowed entry by his Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Bhawani Dutt Bhatt, who said he did not have permission for that. She had staged a dharna yesterday also.
In a statement, Bhatt said that after the supporters created ruckus, Hazratganj circle officer, Dinesh Yadav intervened and arranged a meeting with Tiwari who later allowed Ujjwala to live in his residence.
The people accompanying her were asked to leave.
Alleging a conspiracy, Bhatt resigned from his duties stating that he would not be responsible for any conspiracy committed by Ujjwala against Tiwari.
"It seems that the woman had earlier conspired against Tiwariji in Hyderabad (when he was Governor there). She could be involved in criminal conspiracy against Tiwariji and me in future. Keeping this in mind, I have resigned as OSD," Bhatt said in a statement.
Ujjwala was forcing Tiwari into a "live-in relationship" and he had made a complaint at Hazratganj police station regarding this, but no action was taken, Bhatt said.
On being asked whether any FIR was lodged into the matter, Yadav said this was their internal matter which has been sorted out.
