Mother, son die after getting buried in mud

A woman and her minor son died today and three others were injured after they were buried under mud while digging a pond today at Maheshwari Jat village here.
Shehnaz (35) and her son Shehbaz (8) died when loose mud fell on them from bank of the pond they were digging, police said.
Three others who were injured in the incident have been hospitalised, they said.
In another incident, one Shahid Kureshi died today after being hit on the head when he went to intervene in a fight between two groups over some money transaction.
