Vora turned 86 today.
Several party leaders and office bearers greeted him on the occasion.
Vora, a former chief minister of undivided Madhya pradesh, was recently made the campaign committee chief by the party in Chhattisgarh.
He has been the Congress party's treasurer for the last decade.
