Motivate, support women for development of society: Speaker

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan today stressed on the need for women to motivate and support them so that they can contribute effectively for development of the society.
"Women are our future and it is our responsibility to take care of them. We need to motivate them and support them for our better future," she said addressing a gathering at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Girl Empowerment camp at Rajsamand district of Rajasthan.
Talking about the dignified history, ancient culture, patriotism and valour of Mewar, the speaker said that women were better than their male counterparts as they have the ability to guide and channelise the mighty men in right direction.

Women have quality to take men on right path, she said.
Mahajan also asked the girls to give time to regular studies.
