Smartphone maker Motorola today slashed the price of the third generation its best-selling handset, Moto G by 16.6 per cent to Rs 9,999.
The device was launched in July last year at Rs 11,999 (8GB memory with 1GB RAM) and Rs 12,999 (16GB storage with 2GB RAM) in India.
The 16GB version is now available for Rs 10,999.
The Moto G Turbo is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon chipset, Android Lollipop operating system, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear and 5MP front camera and 2,470mAh battery.
"The Moto G (3rd Gen) is now available starting Rs 9,999 and Moto G Turbo variant is available starting Rs 12,499 exclusively on Flipkart.
"In addition to this, there are exciting exchange offers such as upto Rs 4,000 on Moto G (3rd Gen) and up to Rs 5,000 on Moto G Turbo Edition," Motorola said in a statement.

Motorola has also reduced the price of its Moto G Turbo edition by about 14 per cent to Rs 12,499. The device was launched last month priced at Rs 14,499.
