As per the agreement, DTE will be responsible for activities such as authorising ITIs, and authorities involved involved in CTS/MES courses.
DTE would permit IL&FS Skills Agency to work with various ITIs under the DTE to refurbish and introduce courses as per the policy guidelines in courses, according to a spokesman of Cairn India.
Cairn India, a Vedanta Group company shall provide for refurbishment of infrastructure, and provision for supplementary teachers in ITI's which is required to deliver and implement the vocational training courses as identified under this MoU.
IL&FS Skills is the operating partner and will be responsible for faculty recruitment, training, student mobilisation, transaction of curriculum and training delivery, industry visits, monitoring and providing print course content.
