The rally will commence from Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar temple and culminate here on September 25, on the occasion of a mega meeting of party workers, BJP General Secretary In-charge of Madhya Pradesh Anant Kumar told reporters here today, after chairing the party's election committee meeting.
The rally will cover nearly 200 of the 230 seats in the assembly and will highlight the achievements of Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in the last nine years.
Kumar also termed as "unconstitutional" an order issued by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, barring entry of outsiders to the hill state.
He said that one should rise above party politics while dealing with natural calamities.
Answering a query about reconstruction of Kedarnath temple, he said that priority must be given to rescue and relief operations first and rebuilding the sanctum sanctorum should be taken up later.
He said that it was late Sardar Patel who had re-constructed the Somnath temple and now Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has offered to rebuild the Kedarnath temple.
