Shivraj Singh Chouhan today honoured P Kunhikrishnan, the director of Satish Dhawan Space Centre.
Chouhan honoured Kunhikrishnan with 'Vigyan Pratibha Samman' at his residence here this evening. The honour was instituted by Vigyan Bharati (the science body of RSS) and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST) in 2016.
"On the occasion, Kunhikrishnan also invited Chouhan to be present on the occasion of Chandrayan-II's launch proposed in year 2018," a public relations department official said.
The official said Chouhan informed Kunhikrishnan about ongoing river conservation programme - 'Namami Devi Narmade - Sewa Yatra.
