Tiger conservation efforts at the Panna Tiger Reserve, which had shot into infamy a few years ago can now boast about hosting 30 tigers and is being lauded at the international level, a state public relations official said here.
According to the official, wildlife expert Belinda Wright noted that Panna's tiger conservation is being talked about highly even in Kazakhstan and Cambodia.
Panna Tiger Reserve has now attained the status of an international level wildlife conservation school, the official said.
Experts have also praised the leadership and commitment of the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister towards wildlife protection, the official said.

The meeting was also informed that number of reindeer which had dwindled to 60 in the recent past has risen to 600 due to better management, the official said.
During the current year, seven reindeer were trans-located to Van Vihar in Bhopal from the Kanha Tiger Reserve.
The Panna National Park has also been declared a winner for 2015, by Trip Advisor, which has conferred a certificate of excellence on it, he said.
