According to Ekta Parishad, which is leading the march, Chouhan would reach Agra and take part in the 'Jan Satyagraha' by marching with them for around 10 kms, its coordinator Jayant Singh Tomar told PTI.
"Chouhan would leave for Agra tomorrow to express solidarity with those marching to Delhi on the issue of land reforms and right to shelter among other issues," official sources confirmed.
By undertaking this foot-march, the protesters from 26 states hope to draw the Centre's attention to the plight of the landless poor. They would cover a distance of about 320 km by October 28.
According to Tomar, a decision on the outcome of the meeting between the Jan Satyagaraha delegation and Union Minister Jairam Ramesh that is taking place in Delhi, would also be known later today.
The chief Minister had extended his support to the march while he was in the USA.
Agra mayor Indrajeet Valmiki will welcome the foot-marchers on their arrival in the city of Taj Mahal.
