"Whether it is in Gujarat or Uttarakhand, the BJP has done nothing but indulged in politics over dead bodies," he told reporters at the Madhya Pradesh Congress office here.
Prakash who has been made Congress General Secretary in-charge for the state, was here today on his maiden visit to Bhopal, to hold a meeting of the Madhya Pradesh Congress, as part of its preparations for this year's assembly elections.
However, the meeting was cancelled in view of the death of former Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Subhash Yadav and a condolence meeting was held in which leaders paid tributes to the departed soul.
Congress Secretary Sanjay Nirupam told reporters that by claiming to have rescued 15,000 pilgrims from Uttarakhand in a single day, Modi had proved that he was a "much bigger" than even Lord Hanuman.
"There is no need to believe the claims made by Modi," Nirupam said.
