"Miscreants of Opposition BJP and Sangh Pariwar have circulated the pamphlets to some leaders and workers cutting across the parties in Indore yesterday," city Congress president Pramod Tandon and party spokesman Narendra Saluja alleged at a press conference.
"We condemn BJP and Sangh parivar for allegedly trying to drive a wedge between Scindiaji and Bhuriyaji who are our very respectable and dedicated leaders working for unity of the party," they said.
Saluja alleged that "frustrated" BJP was behind launching the malicious propaganda.
Denying the allegations, BJP spokesperson (Indore Division) Alok Dubey said that it was Congress' "culture" to resort to such gimmicks.
"It was Congress party's culture to distribute pamphlets anonymously...Kantilal Bhuriya himself distributed a pamphlet recently at the party meeting recently in which he alleged that feudal powers were trying to remove him...Trying to disassociate from tribal people," he said.
According to Saluja, "the one-page pamphlet in Hindi (as appeared in local eveninger today) alleged that Scindia supported MLAs and local leaders against Bhuria".
