"After the Modi Government announced plans to build 100 smart cities in the country, we are preparing ourselves to implement the project. We will develop smart cities with assistance from Britain," Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Anthony de Sa said in a seminar at IIM-Indore.
Besides the British Government, assistance will also be sought from multinational firms like Cisco and Siemens to execute the ambitious project, he said.
As part of "Vision 2018", smart cities will be built at select places in the State under public-private partnership, the senior bureaucrat said.
