As the Facebook post of Raoti tehsildar Amita Singh Tomar went viral, Ratlam district in-charge collector Harjinder Singh issued a show cause notice to her this evening for violating the Civil Services Conduct Rules.
"When Prime Minister went to Afghanistan, and then Muslims of that country waved India's flag and raised slogans of Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata ki Jai. Therefore, I request Prime Minister that he should start Rajiv Gandhi Aatmhatya Yojna so that pseudo seculars and those with Congress ideology can commit suicide by hearing this news," Tomar purportedly said in the post yesterday.
Speaking to reporters today, Tomar clarified she got this matter (post) on her WhatsApp messenger and she just posted it on her Facebook account.
The officer also apologised for posting it stating she had no intention to hurt anybody's feelings.
