MP officials face possible suspensions if found guilty for

Madhya Pradesh government officials found guilty of 'delaying delivery of public services' without any valid reason will face possible suspensions.
A circular issued by the state government in this regard has identified 11 services where on receiving a complaint, a probe will be initiated against the officer concerned.
"The circular says services guaranteed under the Act should be promptly delivered to the people. Services of officials responsible for delaying it without any valid reason will be terminated after a brief probe," an official of the state PRO department said.
The services identified by the government include building permission, coloniser licence (issued for setting up residential colonies), water connection, property tax valuation among others.
Besides these, the other key services like the issuance of BPL and general ration cards, providing space to roadside vendors and payment of salaries to the labourers will also be addressed under the directive.
Divisional Joint Directors of respective Departments have also been asked to review the number of applications received every week, the official added.
The state government's has taken the latest initiative to ensure prompt delivery of services to the people under Citizens Charter and Public Services Guarantee Act, the official said.
