MPHA beat Jharkhand to clinch Sub-Jr Girls hockey title

Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy (MPHA) defeated Jharkhand 5-2 to win the fourth Hockey India Sub-Junior Girls National Championship (Division A) here today.
While MPHA bagged the title, Chandigarh Olympic Association (COA) registered a 3-1 win over Haryana to finish third.
Results of the day:
Final: Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy 5 Preeti Dubey (2nd, 22nd and 45th min); Pratibha Arya (17th) and Sandhana Sengar (52nd) vs Hockey Jharkhand 2 Pinki Ekka (40th) and Nisha Rani Aind (49th).
3rd-4th place play-off match: Chandigarh Olympic Association 3 Shalu Mann (37th), Saroj (44th), Manisha (54th) vs Hockey Haryana 1 Jyoti (53rd).
