MPHA spank J&K 20-0 in the 3rd HI Senior Women Natl C'ship

Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy (MPHA) scored an emphatic 20-0 victory over Jammu & Kashmir in a Pool D league match of the third Hockey India Senior Women National Championship at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in Lucknow today.
For MPHA the goalscorers were Preeti (2nd, 4th, 23rd minutes), Reena Khokhar (6th, 19th, 34th), Anuja (39th, 40th, 42nd), Jyoti (37th, 41st, 45th), Rakhi (53rd, 67th), Reema Katariya (1st), Karishma (11th), Shivani (14th), Neha Rawat (68th) and two own goals (22nd, 58th).
In a Pool F match, Sports Authority of India (SAI) beat Chandigarh 6-1 while in pool H, Punjab defeated Assam 5-0.
Haryana & Odisha enters Quarter-finals of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Women National Championship
Meanwhile in the third Hockey India Junior Women National Championship in Ranchi, Pooja Rani, Jyoti Gupta and Reena Rani scored four goals each to help Haryana thrash Uttarakhand 23-0 in their concluding pool A league game and enter the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Haryana, who led 12-0 at the half time, scored through Pooja Rani, Nicky, Jyoti Gupta, Deepti, Navdeep, Navneet Kaur, Reena Rani, Navpreet Kaur, Jyoti Dahiya, Malkeet Kaur and an own Goal.

Odisha also booked their berth in the quarter-finals, defeating Sports Authority of India 2-0.
Nilprojita Majhi scored both the goals for Odisha in the 12th and 25th minutes.
In Pool C, Rajasthan beat Mumbai Hockey Association Limited 1-0, while Delhi defeated Rajasthan 2-0 in Pool H.
