Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) today dismissed from service three officials who were arrested for their alleged role in the selection/recruitment scandal that has taken the state by storm.
Nitin Mohindra (Chief System Analyst), Ajay Mishra (System Analyst) and C K Mishra (Assistant Programmer) were dismissed from service by the MPPEB for their role in committing alleged irregularities in different selection and recruitment examinations.
When contacted, MPPEB chairman MM Upadhyaya said that the services of the trio have been terminated for their alleged involvement in the scam related to different examinations.
The Special Task Force (STF), probing the case, has already arrested them and submitted a charge sheet in the court following which show-cause notices were served to them.
The officials were allegedly involved in irregularities in Pre-Medical Tests (PMTs) of 2013, 2014, Pre-PG 2012, Dairy Federation Recruitment Examination, Police Constable Recruitment Examination and Contractual Teacher Examination, 2011.
The scam rocked the state in 2013 when the police in Indore caught a few alleged impostors appearing in the PMT examination in place of original candidates and later a large number of students, doctors, officials and a minister, besides others were arrested by the STF.
