Bangalore-headquartered publishing services company MPS officially announced here today that it has acquired US-based content creation company Electronic Publishing Services (EPS).
"MPS North America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MPS, has completed the acquisition of EPS," according to an official release issued here today.
The company did not disclose the size of the deal.
"The acquisition of EPS further strengthens our presence in North America and enriches our portfolio in the educational publishing market. This presents good opportunities to both MPS and EPS.
"Educational publishers will benefit from a wider range of services and true integration of subject matter expertise with digital learning," MPS Chief Marketing Officer Rahul Arora said.
EPS provides full-service editorial, content creation, art rendering, development, design, research and production services to higher education publishing markets.
"We are excited about the expanded breadth of services that we will offer with the combination of EPS with MPS. All current EPS employees have joined MPS and will continue to deliver all services they have in the past," EPS President Eileen Mitchell said, commenting on the acquisition.
