MSCI adds Bajaj Fin, Havells, Titan, Yes Bank, drops RCom

Four companies -- Bajaj Finance, Havells India, Titan Company and Yes Bank -- will be added to the MSCI India index while Reliance Communications, REC and United Breweries will make an exit, effective close of May 31.
Shares of most of these companies showed muted response where Bajaj Finance fell 0.48 per cent to Rs 7,613.50, Titan Company slipped 2.42 per cent to Rs 364.95 and Yes Bank went down by 0.60 per cent to Rs 949.10 on BSE.
Havells India, however, surged 5.22 per cent to Rs 359.85.
Reliance Communications plunged 5.31 per cent to Rs 51.75 and United Breweries too slipped 3.90 per cent to Rs 763.90.
Shares of Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) were up 0.09 per cent to Rs 164.70.
The following changes will take place as of close of May 31, 2016, MSCI had said yesterday.
On the MSCI global small-cap index, 23 Indian stocks will be added while 8 will log out. The stocks that will make an entry include Reliance Communications and SpiceJet while those that will exit are Indian Bank and GVK Power, among others.
