The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) signed a Contribution Agreement with the Wadhwani Operating Foundation to provide entrepreneurship education to secondary and post-secondary students as well as in colleges.
The Central and state governments have been engaged in initiatives to integrate entrepreneurship in curriculum of schools and institutions of higher education.
With this partnership, the ministry will be able to provide support in a more organised and structured manner, and on a larger scale for different entrepreneurial-led initiatives of the government, a statement said.
The Wadhwani Foundation will provide cloud based interactive e-content for entrepreneurship training under the initiative.
"We have developed highly interactive online multi-media content to massively scale entrepreneurship education and exposure in India," said Ajay Kela, President and CEO, Wadhwani Operating Foundation.
