MSM, Red Chillies Entertainment ink pact

Multi Screen Media (MSM) and Red Chillies Entertainment inked a pact today to explore opportunities in co-produced- television, digital and film content.
MSM also acquired the TV broadcast rights of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan starrer 'Dilwale'.
Multi Screen Media CEO NP Singh said, "As a network, our focus remains aligned to becoming the first choice in television and digital entertainment. Towards that end, this alliance of MSM and Red Chillies is expansive and pans a spectrum of co-produced content not only across television and digital but also films."

ex-Googler Lalitesh Katragadda invests in BetterPlace * Background verification firm BetterPlace today said former Google executive Lalitesh Katragadda has invested in the company.
He has also joined the Bengaluru-based firm as its Executive Board member.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Widely credited to be the man behind Google Mapmaker, Katragadda was previously associated with Google for over 10 years.
The IIT-Bombay alumnus is currently serving as an advisor to the Central and Andhra Pradesh governments on several projects.

Exotel offers cheap-rate plans for non-profits * Exotel, a cloud telephony company, today launched Exotel.Org, a portal where non-profits and social enterprises can access the company's telephony solutions at lower rates than commercial outfits.

Hartek Power commissions 40 MW substation in Morena
* Chandigarh-based Engineering firm Hartek Power Pvt Ltd has successfully commissioned a 40-MW substation project near Banmore in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh.
"The project, executed for Amba Shakti Group at a cost of around Rs 7 crore, involved complete design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 132 KV bay government substation and a 132/11 KV pooling station with two 20 MVA transformers," the company said in a release.

Flipkart launches Trendstalk's Autumn-Winter 2016-17 edition * Flipkart today announced the launch of Trendstalk's Autumn-Winter 2016-17 edition in collaboration with fashion analytics firm WGSN and NIFT.
With an aim to empower local sellers create and sell products at par with global brands, Trendstalk, in partnership with WGSN and National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), will offer local sellers global fashion trends and forecast.
"Over 50 sellers have adopted this platform and have created 2,000 styles which are available on Flipkart. Tata Teleservices Launches MDM in Indian Market * Tata Teleservices (TTL) today launched mobile device management (MDM) technology in the Indian market which it claims will secure access to official data and emails over mobile devices.
"Most organisations have made sizeable investments in terms of securing access to company information through laptops and PCs and are exploring ways to secure data and applications on the mobile phones and tablets.," TTL President - Enterprise Business, Prateek Pashine said in a statement.
BigRock offers cloud service at Rs 499 per month
*IT company Endurance today said its website service provider BigRock will offer cloud computing service for businesses at starting price of Rs 499 per month.
"We are excited to introduce Cloud for Business to help customers implement substantial capital savings with zero in-house server storage and application requirements," Endurance India MD Shashank Mehrotra said in a statement.
Customers also get a free domain name across a choice of extensions including .Com, .Net, .Biz and .Org with every Cloud for Business package, the statement said.
"Each Cloud for Business plan includes over 80 one-click installation apps that can be used to build everything from websites, to blogs and forums. Cloud for Business is currently available on BigRock starting at Rs 499 per month," it added.
