MSU guest house wins award for innovative design

The renovated and restored guest house at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda here has got 'Innovative Design of the Year' award given by the The Green Cities Forum.
The building, damaged in 2001 earthquake, was not in use for the last several years before it was renovated.
The restored guest house building has been designed in such a way that it save on consumption of energy and water, and prevents wastage.
