MTS launches platform to promote upcoming singers

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd, which provides telecom services under MTS brand, today launched 'Discover' platform that will provide avenues to upcoming singers to showcase their talent.
"SSTL continues its association with the Bacardi NH7 Weekender music festival to bring back MTS Discover - a unique platform for new and upcoming musicians," the company said in a statement.
MTS Discover has a clear-cut aim to provide the young and promising musicians a chance to showcase their talent in front of lakhs of fans who will be attending the Weekender music festival across Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata, it added.
Earlier, MTS served as a launch pad in India for some great Indian and international artists like Dhruv Visvanath, Nischay Parekh and Prateek Kuhad to Cardiff folk duo Zervas & Pepper and Australian alternative pop sensation Kate Miller-Heidke.
The Bacardi NH7 Weekender 2014 festival is scheduled to start from November 1, 2014 in Kolkata and will end on November 30 in Delhi.
"Besides, all the action at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender music festival, fans at the event venue will have access to free Wi-Fi, powered by MTS to keep them connected online.
In-addition, MTS India will also set up a special 'MTS Lounge' where fans would be entertained with some surprise performances.
Gaming enthusiasts too will get a first-hand experience of GameGod, India's first online multiplayer video gaming platform.
