The upcoming 23rd annual MTV Movie Awards will pay a special tribute to 'Fast and Furious' star Paul Walker, who passed away in a car crash last year.
The 40-year-old actor will be remembered during the award ceremony on April 13 in LA, reported Ace Showbiz.
Walker's 'Fast and Furious' co-star Jordana Brewster will be introducing and leading the tribute, which would also be showcasing clips of his work.
"Paul Walker was a role model for the MTV audience since the very beginning of his too-short career. Our audience grew up with him, from 'Varsity Blues' to the 'Fast and Furious' franchise," MTV president Stephen Friedman, said.
"He was a movie star but one that they could relate to. Paul's humanity and kindness clearly showed through every role. We're honoured to be able to spend a moment in this year's Movie Awards to celebrate him," he added.
Conan O'Brien will host the event. Ellie Goulding, Zedd, Rihanna, and Eminem are among the performers.
Shailene Woodley is set to present at the award show along with her 'The Fault in Our Stars' co-star Ansel Elgort. Other confirmed presenters are Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton, Lupita Nyong'o, Johnny Depp, and Andrew Garfield.
