Sayeed was here last evening to attend the closing ceremony of MAMI film festival, where he was the special guest.
"People have this perception that everyone has a gun in their hand, robbery and murder happens there (J&K) but that is not true. Recently Salman Khan came and shot for 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. We would like more and more people to come there and shoot. We would facilitate all kind of help," Sayeed said at the recently concluded MAMI festival here.
"We have talented people here (J&K). We want to revive cinema, art and culture there. We are working towards it," he added.
The CM along with filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra were accompanied by youngsters from the valley who were flown in to Mumbai to attend the 17th Jio MAMI festival.

"The youngsters from J&K have had a great experience here. We would want youngsters from here (Mumbai) coming there and witnessing our beauty, interacting with our people... They can see our hospitality. I am thankful to Vinod to have us here," Sayeed said.
"Next year at MAMI we would have a separate slot of one-two hours with youngsters of Jammu and Kashmir. I am from Kashmir and I remember we had no money for films and how I have managed to see films, and eventually how I reached here. I want more talent from there coming here in the industry," he added.
