Hailing the resumption of trade between the two nations from Chakan Da Bagh area of Poonch, he said reopening of crossing points on LoC was a result of the pro-peace policies being propagated by his party since its formation.
PDP has pioneered a political and economic agenda to establish sustainable peace in the subcontinent and for the development of backward and neglected areas, Mufti said.
"Establishing lasting peace and to consolidate the reconciliation process is on the top of the agenda of PDP," he said while addressing a meeting of the party district committees of Poonch and Rajouri.
