Mulayam must stop drama of scolding officers publicly: Bajpai
Press Trust of India Bareilly BJP state president Laxmikant Bajpai today said that Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav must stop the "drama" of scolding party ministers on public platforms and instead become the chief minister himself as nothing in the state happens without his consent.
"He has been scolding his party's government and ministers from public platforms...He should stop this drama and instead take over the reins and become the chief minister as nothing in the state is happening without his consent," Bajpai said.
"In the name of party meetings, the SP chief pulls up his ministers and officiers...He should become the chief minister himself as none of the ministers or officers can remain on their posts without his consent," he said.
"SP chief has been openly branding officers as corrupt... he should tell what action has been taken against the officials in this connection...Till now only the officers who are not assisting the wrong actions of their ministers are shifted...So many SP leaders are themselves involved in wrong deeds," he said.
On the law and order front, the BJP leader said that despite tall claims of the ruling party leaders, the reality is that even young girls are not safe in the state, he said.
