Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's younger daughter-in-law was a guest at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's programme at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) here, but she said no political inference should be drawn from her presence there.
The attendance of Aparna Bisht Yadav at Modi's programme caused ripples, but the wife of Mulayam's younger son, Prateek, sought to dismiss any speculation over it.
"I have been invited here by the Vice-Chancellor. There is no politics involved in it. The Prime Minister of the country is for everyone," she said.
Aparna has in the past expressed admiration for Modi for his Swachch Bharat Abhiyan and had even shared a selfie with Modi on social media while also posting against cow slaughter.
