The club played four friendly matches during their time in the UAE against top Emirates teams and remained unbeaten by winning two games and drawing the rest, according to a media release.
The first match was played against Al Ahli, the reigning UAE Pro League Champs and Asian Champions League runners-up in which the Mumbai outfit came out on top scoring two goals via Leo Costa and Lucian Goian without reply.
They then drew 1-1 with Al Wasl, a well-supported Dubai-based team and then won the third match against the Dubai Cultural Sports Club, UAE's first division team from Dubai 2-0 with goals coming from Matias Defederico and Gaston Sangoy.
Commenting on the tour, head coach Alexandre Guimaraes said, "The team is returning to Mumbai unbeaten which is a very good thing. We played some tough opponents, in really hot conditions, and the boys pulled through when needed. To be here for 35 days has really helped the team understand me and each other better.
