Mumbai include two left-arm spinners for must-win game
Press Trust of India Mumbai Hosts and 40-time champions Mumbai have included two left-arm spinners, besides off-spinner Akshay Girap, for their must-win concluding Ranji Trophy cricket Group A league fixture against holders Karnataka here.
The Mumbai selection panel, led by national chief selector Sandeep Patil, has added under-performing Iqbal Abdullah to the squad in addition to recalled Harmeet Singh, who played his first game of the season in their previous tie against Baroda, to take on the formidable Karnataka at the Wankhede Stadium from February 6-9.
Mumbai have to win the game outright and gain at least six points and edge out other contenders for a spot in the top three of the group and a place in the quarter-finals of the national cricket championship.
