The official charity partner of the event, United Way of Mumbai, today said they expect the charity amount to cross Rs 17.5 crore compared to Rs 16.07 crore raised in 2012.
The charity partner added that they have so far mobilised Rs 14.4 crore for 232 NGOs.
The marathon, an annual event on the calendar, has raised around Rs 71.07 crore in the last nine years for charity.
