It was a second loss for Mumbai as they had lost to arch-rivals Air India 0-3 yesterday.
Mumbai grabbed the lead in the 11th minute with a goal by Anup Valmiki but BPCL soon turned the tables with concerted efforts to score five goals.
In this Tushar Khandekar starred with two goals (65 and 69 mins) and Amir Khan (14th), Gurupreet Singh (21m) and Sunil Somwarpet (70th Min) also sounded the board.
International Gaganpreet Singh came up with a superb penalty conversion in the 11th minute. However, Railways found the equaliser through Amit Rohitas (48th min) but constant attacking game eventually helped the bankmen to find the winner through Jaskaran Singh, eight minutes before the hooter.
