Opener Munaweera blasted five boundaries and three sixes in his 26-ball stay, while Reifer cracked three fours and four hits sixes in his unbeaten 42-ball innings after Kings XI Punjab skipper George Bailey won the toss and asked Barbados to take first strike.
For Punjab, Parvinder Awana was the pick of the bowler as he scalped three wickets, while Thisara Perera (2/15) and Anureet Singh (1/32) were also among wickets at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium here.
Awana first sent back Perkings to the pavillion after trapping him infront of wicket and then had Munaweera, who had been living dangerously, caught by Vohra in the last ball of his over.
Reifer then took the onus on himself and alongwith Jonathan Carter (20) added 45 runs to take Barbados across the 100-mark in the 11th over.
