The PMC workers continued to strike work for the second day today.
"We have decided to observe three day strike (till tomorrow) and if our demands are not met employees would go on indefinite strike from February 12," Neeraj Kumar Verma, General Secretary of PMC Employees Union told PTI today.
There are around 4000 workers in the PMC of which 1500 are permanent and rest 2500 daily wagers.
There was no agreement on providing life long pension to family of the deceased employee which is only for five years now, he said.

PMC Commissioner Jai Singh told PTI that during talks last evening "we gave a positive assurance to the striking employees representatives that their two demands including increase in wage and life long pension would be considered sympathetically after assessing the financial implications".
He said PMC would advertise the steps taken for employees in the newspapers to make citizens aware of the truth.
With PMC vehicles and workers off, garbage has started piling up in the city much to the discomfort of citizens.
