Murder accused arrested

A man, accused of murdering a
jeweller, was arrested from Sector 82 here while his four accomplices are still absconding.
Police today arrested Ganesh for the murder of Sonu, a jeweller, in January this year, while a hunt is on for his four friends Aman, Nafresh, Sadab and Aas Mohammad, a police officer said.
Ganesh, who melted silver and gold in his shop in Nangla Charan Das area here, had borrowed Rs 90,000 from Sonu, who used to loan money from his shop nearby, the officer said.
Unable to repay the money, Ganesh gave 20 grams of gold to Sonu. Not satisfied, Sonu sold his shop to one Raju when Ganesh was away, he said.

Ganesh tried to get his shop back in vain, after which he hatched a plan with his friends and shot Sonu dead on January 12 this year, the officer said.
