"Congress leader Archana Singh (65), who was named in the murder of former bar association vice president Ramendra Kumar Mishra, along with eight other persons, died of lung infection in a hospital last night," a police spokesman said.
Mishra's body was found murdered on October 29 last year in Nehru Nagar area of the city and Singh along with other eight persons was arrested, the spokesman said.
According to jail sources, Singh was admitted to Hallet hospital on February 21 following the complaint of severe headache.
