Singer-composer Lesle Lewis today called cancellation of Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali's concerts in Maharashtra following threat from Shiv Sena "unfair" and said music should not be politicised.
"This doesn't look fair to me. Music shouldn't be politicised", Lewis told reporters here when asked about cancellation of Ali's concerts in Maharashtra.
Lewis shot to fame for his work in Colonial Cousins, an Indian duo comprising him and famous singer Hariharan.
"A listener can opt for any medium to hear a singer- even if he is not allowed to perform live," he added.
