Two back-to-back performances by the legend are planned for evening on May 10, where Gulzar is slated to also read out some of his favourite poems.
The first play, a musical "Pansa", which premiered in Mumbai last year, is an adaptation of the book "Yudishir and Draupadi" by retired diplomat Pavan K Varma.
Peppered with powerful narration and dialogues penned by Gulzar himself, the play directed by Salim Arif boasts of power-packed performances by seasoned names in television and cinema, such as Amit Bahl, Bakul Thakkar and Lubna Salim.
"Often described as sensitive, emotional and yet witty, Gulzar Saheb is set to end the evening with recital of some of his rare and most loved works in his own inimitable baritone," a spokesperson for the event said.

The programme is being organised by Fever Legends, a property of Fever Entertainment.
