Linseed oil in the non-edible section, also moved up on fresh enquiries from consuming industries.
Traders said increased demand from retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly attributed the rise in mustard and cottonseed oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil moved up by Rs 100 to Rs 7,800 per quintal. Mustard pakki and kachi ghani oils edged up by Rs 25 each to Rs 1,325-1,375 and Rs 1,375-1,475 per tin respectively.
Among non-edible oils, linseed found buying support from paint and other consuming industries and gained Rs 50 to Rs 8,550 per quintal.
