Prices of mustard and groundnut oil rose by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on the back of pick-up in demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to trade in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said rising demand from retailers supported the upside in select edible oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) and groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oils were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,400 and Rs 8,000 per quintal, respectively.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
