Mustard oil gains on scattered demand

Barring a rise in mustard oil on scattered demand from local parties, rest of the edible and non-edible oils held steady at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today in thin trade.
Traders said mild demand from local parties against restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly led to the rise in mustard oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri)oil moved up by Rs 30 to Rs 7,900 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 930-1,100.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 8,400, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,400-1,450, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,900, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,250- 1,300, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,300-1,400, sesame mill delivery 7,500, Soyabean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 6,850, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 6,550, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 4,300, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 5,800, Palmolein (RBD) 5,900, Palmolein (Kandla) 5,750 and Coconut (per tin) 2,350-2,400.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 8,400, Castor 9,700-9,800, Neem 5,350-5,450.
