In restricted activity, mustard oil showed some strength on the back of local demand and prices rose by Rs 30 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market in the national capital today.
However, other edible and non-edible oils, moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said some demand from local parties mainly influenced mustard oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller oil (Dadri) moved up by Rs 30 to Rs 7,080 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
