Prices of mustard and sesame oils fell by Rs 100 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to subdued demand.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to move in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides subdued demand, adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on mustard and sesame oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) remained weak and shed another Rs 100 to Rs 6,600 per quintal.
Sesame mill delivery oil also traded lower by the same margin to Rs 8,900 per quintal.
Following are today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
