Marketmen said increased buying by stockists amid tight supply from producing belts mainly led to the rise in mustard and sesame oil prices.
In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) oil rose by Rs 150 to Rs 7,100 per quintal. Mustard pakki and kachi ghani oils traded higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 1,250-1,300 and Rs 1,300-1,400 per tin respectively.
