At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange counter, mustardseed for delivery in September month contracts were down by Rs 28, or 0.78%, to Rs 3,541 per quintal, having an open interest of 38,560 lots.
Most-active near contract October month too fell by a similar margin to trade at Rs 3,572 per quintal, clocking an open interest of 40,320 lots.
Marketmen said the fall in mustardseed prices at futures trade was mostly attributed to a weak trend at spot markets on increased supplies against slackness in demand.
