On similar lines, prices for current month advanced by Rs 70, or 1.58 per cent, to Rs 4,488 per quintal and open interest stood of 52,330 lots.
Marketmen said the rise in mustardseed prices at futures trade was mostly attributed to strong demand in physical markets, particularly from oil mills and vanaspati units, driven by ongoing festive season.
