Refined soya oil futures traded lower 0.23 per cent to Rs 632.90 per 10 kg today as participants cut down their bets amid low demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June declined by Rs 1.45, or 0.23 per cent to Rs 632.90 per 10 kg with an open interest of 9,270 lots.
In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in far-month July traded lower by Rs 1.25, or 0.19 per cent to Rs 645.50 per 10 kg in 1,18,140 lots.
Marketmen said offloading of positions by traders tracking subdued demand in the spot market against ample stocks on higher supplies from producing belts, mainly kept refined soya oil prices lower at futures trade.
